Capturing the cover of House and Home Magazine, this new build country escape balances traditional and contemporary architecture to create a rustic modern retreat. Grappling with the decision to design an open concept or traditional layout Absolutely, while working with an architectural technologist, designed this expansive open space.
Relying on the tension created between modern and classic styles the finished space is both comfortable and dramatic. The design incorporated reclaimed wood flooring, 19th century refinished doors and hardware with contemporary furnishings and artwork.
